Mine are just a *wee* bit ahead of yours where they get full sun, just starting to show some colour on the buds. It's a slow spring this year for sure. Our first year in PG was an unusually warm spring/hot summer and I remember tulips blooming in April already.
Gardening Adventures from the North started in March 2008 as an attempt to track and share my gardening experiences in Northern BC. My garden is a zone 3b, although more and more I am seeing plants hardy to zones 4 or 5 overwinter here. I am interested in sustainable gardening practices, shade gardening, seed starting and plant propagation (of which I have had little success). Hopefully as this blog evolves it will include our interior and exterior home renovations, and my experiences canning and preserving my garden delicacies.

I really like your blog. Nice blend of gardening and nature. I have a gardening blog www.jennigarden.blogspot.com. I'll add you to my link list.
