Our gardens are in sync. I took a picture of my lily of the valley yesterday and they looked at the identical stage. It's refreshing after looking at pictures online of gardens that have cleared out their late spring flowers and are onto summer blooms.
we bought the house in september and they were here already... but I know they multiply like crazy - so they probably started as a much smaller patch and multiplied over the years without having much attention payed to them
Gardening Adventures from the North started in March 2008 as an attempt to track and share my gardening experiences in Northern BC. My garden is a zone 3b, although more and more I am seeing plants hardy to zones 4 or 5 overwinter here. I am interested in sustainable gardening practices, shade gardening, seed starting and plant propagation (of which I have had little success). Hopefully as this blog evolves it will include our interior and exterior home renovations, and my experiences canning and preserving my garden delicacies.

I just can't believe how fast the lilies are growing...it's a noticeable amount each day!
Did you plant all of these at one time? Did they multiply? I'm curious.
